Melbourne’s PBS 106.7 FM To Hold ‘Drive Live’ From Feb 4-8

Melbourne community radio station PBS 106.7 FM will again stage its popular live music initiative Drive Live in the first week of February.

Every afternoon from Monday, February 4 to Friday, February 8, three different acts will put themselves in each of the station’s studios during the drive show from 5pm to 7pm. They’ll be playing live, doing interviews, and creating all sorts of aural goodness on the airwaves.

A huge range of local and international acts will be part of Drive Live – including Lower Plenty, Brothers Grim, Spinning Rooms, Pony Face, and The Townhouses. The station also says there’s “a seriously large bunch more” still to be announced.

And if you’re a PBS member, there’s some serious perks on offer too! You can come down to the studios to watch all the bands in action, and sink plenty of Coopers beer as well. Members can RSVP to get their name on the door to the sessions from Monday, 28 January at www.pbs.org.au. General punters will also get the chance to come to the shows after members have snapped up their spots.
