It seems Meredith Music Festival 2011 just keeps getting better; there will be a total lunar eclipse during the festival. The moon will be eclipsed ‘in totality’ for 51 minutes and 8 seconds. This will take place from 14:31:49 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), which is about half-past midnight on the Saturday night of Meredith, or about the time that Grinderman finish their set.
If you haven’t already signed up for the ticket ballot, then you better head over to the Meredith website fast because the first round closes this Friday 12 August at 10pm.
Meredith 2011 will take place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of December in the spectacular Supernatural Amphitheatre, which is situated on the edge of a farm, 90 kms due West of Melbourne, halfway between Geelong and Ballarat, near the town of Meredith in the Shire of Golden Plains, Victoria, Australia.
