UPDATE: Metallica Has Added Another Show To Their Massive Australian Tour
ORIGINAL STORY: HAS CHRISTMAS COME EARLY?! WHO DO WE HAVE TO THANK FOR THIS GREAT HONOUR?!
After what felt like decades of waiting, Metallica have finally announced their return to Australia with a massive nationwide tour.
And to only sweeten the deal, they’re bringing Slipknot – who are equally as overdue for a tour – along for the ride as well.
The two giant bands will be touring the country in October, playing dates in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The last time Metallica toured was in 2013 when they were here as a part of Soundwave festival, and they haven’t performed a headline tour of their own since 2010 – almost a decade ago. As for Slipknot, they were last here in 2016.
