Metallica have announced new shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

Recognizing the insatiable demand which lead to virtual instant sell outs, leaving many fans lamenting, über rock gods Metallica have agreed to additional Australian shows! Metallica will now begin the first leg of their Australian ‘World Magnetic Tour’ in Melbourne on Wednesday September 15, before heading onto Sydney on Saturday September 18.
The band will then continue on to Japan for major stadium dates there, before returning in October and November for their 13 sold out arena shows around the country.
Tickets for these 4th Melbourne and Sydney shows go on general sale at 9am Friday June 25. Taking to the stage for more than two hours Metallica will feature material drawn from throughout their career including their current album Death Magnetic, performing 360º in the round in the centre of the arena, on a custom built stage and with their full world tour production.
