Mick Jagger, the true man of steel, has undergone successful heart surgery that caused the Rolling Stones to postpone their upcoming American tour.
The surgery was reportedly to replace a valve in Jagger’s heart, and apparently went well – Jagger took to Twitter to thank fans for all the love they’ve sent him this week.
“Thank you everyone for all your messages of support, I’m feeling much better now and on the mend – and also a huge thank you to all the hospital staff for doing a superb job,” he wrote.

He was always expected to make a complete recovery, but the total time of the operation and recovery time means the band has had to postpone their American tour which was set to kick off in April.
We’re wishing Jagger a speedy recovery.
