After a hugely successful debut last weekend, socially (media-) distanced music festival Isol-Aid will return this weekend and the lineup is sure to bring a lot of joy to Aussie music fans starved for some live entertainment.
The enviable second lineup rivals that of your favourite music festival, featuring the likes of #1 Dads, Alex Lahey, Alex the Astronaut, Ali Barter, Alice Ivy, Big Scary, Camp Cope, CXLOE, Courtney Barnett, Gretta Ray, Hatchie, Jen Cloher, Josh Pyke, Kingswood, Marlon Williams, Middle Kids, Montaigne, Sarah Blasko and, if you can believe it, even more!
It’s al happening from 12 noon till 12 midnight (AEDT) on both this Saturday, 28th March and Sunday, 29th March via Instagram.
Last weekend’s debut event featured performances from the likes of Stella Donnelly, Julia Jacklin, Angie McMahon, Didirri, Merpire, Alexander Biggs, Ainslie Wills, Hayley Mary, Spacey Jane, Yours Truly and CLEWS. Each artist played about a 20-minute sets streamed live on their
Instagram page and then tag-teamed the next artist to play.
Viewers who are able are encouraged to throw some financial support behind the artists as the Australian music industry continues to face unprecedented financial losses in the wake of mass cancellations due to COVID-19. According to organisers, last weekend’s Isol-Aid brought more than $12k of funds raised for Support Act’s fundraiser which is aiming to provide relief for music industry workers facing hardship.
