Sydney indie rock trio Middle Kids returned with new single ‘R U 4 Me?’ earlier this month. To celebrate, they’ve announced they’ll be trekking throughout their own city with a slew of Sydney launch shows throughout November.
Unable to tour more widely at the moment (these unprecedented times, etc) they’ll be playing intimate, reduced capacity, COVID-Safe shows throughout an array of small venues. The band say the tour is a love-letter of sorts to their home town, as well as an opportunity to revisit venues that hosted them during their formative years.
Taking in the likes of CBD favourites like Oxford Art Factory and The Lansdowne along with beloved inner west haunts like Marrickville’s Factory Theatre and the Vanguard in Newtown, the band will be performing two shows each night.
They’ll also be venturing ever so slightly outside of Sydney to perform a one-off gig at Newcastle City Hall as part of the Great Southern Nights concert series.
