One of the most unique names in heavy metal, Misery Signals are back with their fourth studio album, Absent Light, and they’re heading Down Under this May to mark the occasion, bringing Sydney up-and-comers Stories along for the ride.
Misery Signals combine a razor-sharp sound with a punk rock attitude, making genre defying tunes with a distinctive sound. The Wisconsin outfit’s latest effort, Absent Light, is just the latest in a critically acclaimed back catalogue, with the boys chomping at the bit to bring both old and new tunes to an Aussie audience.
Northern Beaches’ Stories have been making a name for themselves, attracting over 40,000 downloads of their debut EP Void last year. The teenage quintet, who are signed to the UNFD label, are aiming to release their first full-length effort in late 2014.
This series of not to be missed shows kicks off at Perth’s Amplifier Bar on 8th May, before taking in most of the major stops around the country. Tickets go on sale from Friday, 7th March via Oztix, Ticketek and Moshtix.
