Missy Elliot has addressed fans on Twitter after being questioned about her Supafest cancellation, saying she was never actually booked to play the festival. When asked by a fan on Twitter why she wasn’t coming, Elliot replied:
@missyelliot: “@sstephey would never do that Wasn’t confirmed. That’s messed up they would do that smh! I never cancel shows”
Another fan asked if she actually booked for the show in the first place.
@missyelliot: “@brookkeex no I wasn’t. But I will come party wit yall soon! Yall take me around to da hot spots! Had a ball there last time:),” she tweeted.
A huge amount of fans and ticketholders have taken to social media to express their concern about the way Supafest has handled the situation.

The Supafest 2012 Festival is due to kick off in Brisbane this Saturday April 24th.
