Fans are yet to get over the ringing in their ears from last night’s performance at the Enmore in Sydney, but Models are kicking on hard, announcing a run of headline tour dates for the East Coast.
An Evening With...will see the four piece tackling tunes from their extensive back catalogue. The very same catalogue, which has seen them placed firmly as one of the most forward-thinking and creative acts to emerge from home soil.
The masterminds behind The 100 Best Australian Albums, which aptly featured Models’ The Pleasure Of Your Company went as far as to claim “Melbourne electronic outfit Models followed a distinctly perverse and disjointed course from the outset.”
The band pumped the breaks somewhat over the decades but refused to go quietly into the good night. Most recently they dropped two EP’s GTK and MEMO all the while never spending too much time away from the stage. Which includes their recent jaunt as part of Vivid Live 2016.
