Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock has gotten into a bit of strife in his adopted home of Portland.
The singer reportedly crashed his car into the back of a stopped City Of Portland pickup truck after falling asleep at the wheel.
According to a report from local police (via Stereogum), the Bluesfest 2016 artist “hit the rear of a City of Portland Parks pick-up-truck, which hit a Subaru, which hit another Subaru, which likely hit a 5th car that left the scene (perhaps not knowing it had been tapped).”
So it was basically a 5 car pile-up except the 5th car just kind of got knocked and then drove off like it DNGAF.
Luckily, nobody was seriously injured.
Brock was reportedly evaluated for signs of intoxication at the scene, but his tests came back stone cold sober, meaning he got away with a careless driving fine (and, you know, his life).
Let’s hope that next time he takes a leaf out of Dr. Karl’s book.
