Doctors are now happy enough with Molly Meldrum’s condition to perform the extra surgery needed to repair a broken collar bone and ribs that were sustained with his head injuries almost 7 days ago.
His condition was downgraded to “serious but stable” after tests from doctors led to his sedation level being reduced, and he showed positive signs of response
