Mondo Generator Announce New Release Details and Australian Tour

What do Nick Oliveri (Kyuss, Queens Of The Stone Age), Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Them Crooked Vultures), Happy Tom (Turbonegro) and The Fresh Prince Of Darkness (The Dwarves) all have in common?

Aside from the fact they all play in some of the best bands to ever grace the earth, they all feature on the brand new single from Los Angeles band Mondo Generator. The first taste of the new album from the band which is due for release in August, is the track ‘Dog Food’ which is set to be unleashed in May to coincide with the band’s upcoming tour.

Over the last year, band founder Nick Oliveri and fellow member Hoss, alongside producer Bradley Cook have been working on Mondo Generator’s fourth full length album ‘Time To Destroy’. During the recording process they have enlisted a number of guests to make an appearance, ‘Dog Food’ is the first taste of who is featured on the album. With The Fresh Prince Of Darkness on guitar duties, Happy Tom has laid down some bass tracks, while Dave Grohl provides the drum tracks and Nick Oliveri delivers his trade mark vocals.

With a fresh Mondo Generator line up in place, the band will play a limited number of shows in Australia from late May before heading to Europe for shows across June and July. Catch the band in Australia at the following shows :

Mondo Generator ‘Dog Food’ is out on 7″, CD and Digital formats on May 21st on Impedance Records through Stomp. The Mondo Generator album ‘Time To Destroy’ will be released in August
