Brand-new Aussie event Fairgrounds Festival has added a second string of artists to its impressive maiden lineup, including the likes of singer-songwriter Meg Mac, Perth experimentalists Methyl Ethel and indie-rock six-piece Shining Bird.
The two other acts which have been added to Fairgrounds Festival’s debut lineup are Sydney’s unconventional pop act Le Pie and Melbourne singer-songwriter Ben Abraham.
This bunch of new acts join the likes of previously announced Fairgrounds acts like Father John Misty, Ratatat, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Royal Headache. Catch the full lineup, below.
The first-ever Fairgrounds Festival is set to roll out over Berry’s Hazelberry Park on 5th December, with markets, movies and artisan food and beverages from neighbouring estates, bolstered by brews from Sydney craft beer label Young Henrys.
Festival organisers have also announced a tonne of fun activities for the kids, including an outdoor cinema, a hay bale maze and a custom built planetarium. Field games of Twister and badminton are also planned, and there will even be a swimming pool to help everyone cool off.
On-site camping is available at Fairgrounds Festival 2015, which will be capped off by a visit from over 200 stalls of the famous Berry Markets on the day after the festival.
