More FREE music at Sydney Festival 2012

Tim Finn, Josh Pyke, Emma Louise and heaps more will play in a new music venue launching at the 2012 festival.

The Jägermeister Hunting Lodge will be the third of the Festival’s music venues with FREE entry from 5pm-2am for only 250 people at a time.

A purpose built cabin – the venue will be made entirely of logs, it’ll have a wooden deck and it comes complete with a 12 metre bar and fireplace.

The idea is to get cosy, up close and intimate with a hand picked collection of artists that’ll keep the late night embers burning. Already confirmed include Brous, Salvation Street Shout and Festival First Night’s Gramophone Man, as well as one-off performances from the likes of Tim Finn, Josh Pyke and Emma Louise.

There’s promise of secret and surprise shows from the festival’s major music line-up too!

You can expect smooth tunes from DJs including Meem, Emma Swift, Steve G and Jack Shit’s Sensational 78s Scenario.
