The slew of Nick Cave reissues in the last couple of years shows no signs of abating, with the announcement coming that four more Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds records will be re-released soon.
1994’s Let Love In, 1996’s Murder Ballads, 1997’s The Boatman’s Call and 2001’s No More Shall We Part are all set to come out on May 17, according to Slicing Up Eyeballs. Each release will be double-disc ‘Collectors Editions’ including a bonus DVD with a 5.1 surround sound mix. There will also be four or five bonus tracks with each release and a short film to be downloaded separately.
In addition, the reissues will feature the latest installment of the documentary Do You Love Me Like I Love You. The film is being gradually released over the course of the Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds reissues project, which began in 2009 and 2010 with the band’s first seven albums.
In other Nick Cave news, the singer has been working with British band UNKLE according to their website, and will appear on their upcoming EP Only The Lonely, out on April 4. Cave sings with the band on the track Money and Run. The EP also sees appearances from the Duke Spirit‘s Liela Moss and Rachel Fannan, until relatively recently singer with San Francisco psych crew, Sleepy Sun.
The busy Mr Cave remains jetting round the world in support of the last Grinderman album, Grinderman 2, with European festival dates on the horizon, as well as an appearance at the Portishead-curated ATP Festival in London in July.
