More Performers Added To 2014 ARIA Awards

With only a week left until the 2014 ARIA Awards get underway, the awards ceremony has added to the list of acts performing at The Star in Sydney. Neil Finn and Paul Kelly, Dan Sultan, Jessica Mauboy, and the Melbourne Ska Orchestra will all take the stage, along with English boy band One Direction.

ARIA Hall Of Fame recipients Neil Finn and Paul Kelly will play onstage together, with their live album Goin’ Your Way nominated for Best Adult Contemporary Album. Fellow ARIA performer Dan Sultan is up for a stack of awards, including Album Of The Year and Best Male Artist behind 2014 album Blackbird.

Jessica Mauboy could walk away with the ARIA for Telstra Album Of The Year thanks to her record Beautiful, while also vying for Best Female Artist and Best Video, a public voted category, with the Lawrence Lim directed clip for Never Be The Same.

Rounding off the list of newly announced performers, Melbourne Ska Orchestra are nominated for the public voted category of Best Australian Live Act. On the international front the 2014 ARIAs will see 1D do their thing live, and American pop star Katy Perry is set to make a special guest appearance.
