Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee And Poison’s Brett Michaels Looking At Gun Charges

Poison frontman Bret Michaels and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee decided to take a break from tour earlier this month to visit a gun range in North Carolina.

A local TV station, WSOCTV has reported the incident to police, as under North Carolina law those with a criminal record are not allowed to “purchase, own, possess, or have in his custody, care, or control of any firearm.”

What makes this story really bizarre is that they were accompanied by off-duty police officers from the local branch.

Tommy Lee has pleaded guilty to assault charges in the past, including assaulting his ex-wife Pamela Anderson for which he spent 4 months in prison.

The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is investigating the incident. The only comment as of yet from Tommy Lee has been a tweet declaring the gun story “ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT”.

The pair, who are currently on a co-headline tour in the states, not only have in common a love of guns, but they have also both released sex tapes with Pamela Anderson… classy!
