With just a few days to go before they release their new album Cold Spring Fault Less Youth, UK eletronic duo Mount Kimbie have given fans a cheeky hit of what they have coming for them. A tasty number known as You Took Your Time, featuring King Krule, has made its way online arriving as the third single.
Previously, the band debuted Made To Stray and Blood And Form, two other tracks set to feature on the album. You Took Your Time seems to fit perfectly alongside its siblings, once again bringing the hazy, downtempo angst. The album marks number 2 for the band who have been silent on the new material front since dropping 2010’s Crooks & Lovers.
Scoring the nod of approval from Pitchfork, Stereogum, NME and all the other usual suspects with their debut, the hype behind the follow up is enormous. Check out the new track below. It seems as though Mount Kimbie have the spoken word thing locked down.
