Indie heavyweights and titans of the international scene Franz Ferdinand are in town this week for a run of headlining tour dates, and we’re very excited to announce that this Wednesday the Scottish crew will be coming through Music Feeds Studio for a live-streamed performance and interview.
Franz’s 2013 Australian visit was originally slated as part of the ill-fated Harvest Festival. It had been some time between trips too, the band last performing on our shores for Future Music Festival 2010, so thankfully fans have now been rewarded with headlining shows in replacement for their festival shows.
With their latest album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action still fresh from the press Franz Ferdinand’s latest antipodean excursion couldn’t have been better timed. A steady stream of tracks from the record are making their way onto playlists the world over, adding quality tunes like Love Illumination and Evil Eye to an already bulging swag of hits.
Franz Ferdinand will be stopping by this Wednesday, 13th November for a quick chat followed by one of their razor-sharp live performances, going live on this very page after 5pm AEDT.
