Brisbane blues rockers The Blackwater Fever have just unleashed the single Won’t Cry Over You, which is the second lifted from their LP. The track heralds a new management deal for the band as well as a string of tour dates around New South Wales and Queensland in August.
The trio released their third studio album, The Depths, earlier this year to critical acclaim with the band taking an intriguing set of sonic risks by melding blues, soul, trip hop and rock ‘n’ roll with great success.
The band have consolidated a busy few years, playing festivals like Big Day Out, Bluesfest and Peats Ridge and opening for the likes of The Black Keys, Tame Impala, Jon Spencer and Violent Soho but now it is time for The Blackwater Fever to take centre stage for their own headlining tour.
