Tom West wrote his first song at the age of 15 after being dumped by his high school sweetheart. With that same sincere creative energy the singer-songwriter has been forging himself a strong career and will be joining us at Music Feeds Studio to perform a selection of songs from his debut album, A Spark In The Dark.
Two years in the making A Spark In The Dark was a labour of love tracked during cold nights in the Adelaide Hills using just two mics and a laptop. The two singles Malceon and Jonathan’s Farm introduced us to the diversity of the album with its simple folk foundations and expansive moody soundscapes.
Tom West will be hitting the road to launch the album performing on a number of dates throughout August in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. The album launch tour follows on from a successful and extensive tour in the US and Canada.
