UPDATE: Neil Diamond Cancels 2018 Australian Tour, Retires From Touring Altogether
ORIGINAL STORY: Sweet Caroline! Tell mum to cancel her plans, because Neil Diamond is coming down under in 2018 for his 50th anniversary tour.
The legendary crooner will be celebrating his incomparable 50-year career of hits with a humungous tour of Aussie stadiums, arenas and wineries, going down in March and April of next year.
In addition to two massive stadium dates in Townsville and the Sunshine Coast, the so-called “Jewish Elvis” will be hitting some massive outdoor and indoor venues in Brisbane, Sydney, Bendigo, Melbourne, Hunter Valley and Adelaide.
Paul Dainty from tour promoters TEG Dainty made the big announcement, saying, “Neil Diamond is one of the world’s greatest live performers and I am honoured to be working with him on his 50 Year Anniversary Tour and bringing him to cities and venues he has never played.
“To see him perform the songs that have been the soundtrack of our lives will be an incredible live concert experience. Neil is currently touring the world and his fans and critics have been raving about this brand-new show.”
