Neil Young And Crazy Horse Confirm New Album ‘Psychedelic Pill’ In October

Neil Young & Crazy Horse will release their second album this year in October – titled Psychedelic Pill.

Consequence of Sound reports that the band revealed details of the album on their website, which will be as a double CD and also as a triple-vinyl.

The album was recorded immediately after they recorded latest album Americana (released in June) at Audio Casa Blanca. Similar to what they did with Americana, the band are providing fans with full-length videos for each of the songs – through an accompanying blu-ray disc and low resolution downloads on iTunes.

Noise11 reports that Young has previewed a number of the songs from Psychedelic Pill during his current tour, concentrating more on the forthcoming release than Americana, from which he is only playing one song.

One of those tunes is the 20-minute jammer, Walk Like a Giant. Check out the video for that below:
