Neon Indian have revealed details of a new album, the follow-up to 2009’s very well received debut Psychic Chasms.
Pitchfork reports that Era Extraña will be released in North America on September 13 through the band’s own label Static Tongues (via Mom + Pop Music). The album has its Australian release through Pop Frenzy/Inertia and its UK release through Transgressive.
Era Extraña was written and recorded by the brains behind Neon Indian, the Mexico-born Alan Palomo over the (European) winter in Helsinki, Finland. Palomo also produced the LP, while taking care of mixing was David Fridmann.
Stay tuned for the new record’s tracklisting.
