Melbourne’s brand-new boutique festival The Bureau has announced its impressive inaugural lineup, featuring the likes of ‘the screaming eagle of soul’ Charles Bradley and homegrown talents Saskwatch and Andy Bull.
Other acts named on the first-ever The Bureau lineup include Tasmanian singer-songwriter Asta, “Australia’s hardest hitting Hammond Organ Trio” Cookin’ On 3 Burners and local psych-rockers Magic America. More acts are still to be announced.
Aside from the tunes, The Bureau organisers are also promising punters a selection of local produce, wines, imported beers and a string Melbourne’s best food trucks, in what is being billed as “Melbourne’s biggest end-of-year break up party.”
2015’s The Bureau festival is going down at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Friday, 11th December, with picnic, reserved lawn and serviced marquee tickets up for grabs alongside the traditional entry ticket.

UPDATE 24/09/15: Due to not being able to secure any other Australian shows at that time, Salt-N-Pepa are no longer part of The Bureau’s line-up. Organisers have promised there are “great replacement options already in the pipeline” so stay tuned.
