Nick Murphy has dropped short clips of new music in a haunting trailer for his upcoming project Missing Link.
The Aussie muso, formerly known as Chet Faker, teases a few new songs at the end of the trailer, which was directed by Murphy and Johann Rashid
The clip seems to be teasing an EP by the name of Missing Link. While the EP hasn’t officially been announced yet, Music Feeds discovered its existence after Shazam-ing new music that Murphy teased earlier this year.
Murphy is performing three dates at the Sydney Opera House for Vivid LIVE later this year. He’s expected to premier new music at the shows, which are also titled ‘Missing Link’.
It’s all very mysterious, but at least there’s a promise of new tunes. Murphy hasn’t released an album since 2014’s Built On Glass (as Chet Faker), which featured the Hottest 100-topping ‘Talk Is Cheap’.
