With all the doom, gloom & straight-up batshit fuckery that our brains are currently being forced to process on a daily basis, it’s important to celebrate the small joys.
That’s why we’d like to take a moment to pass on some very happy news from rapper Nicki Minaj, who’s just revealed she’s going to become a mum for the very first time.
The famous rhyme-spitter announced she was up-the-duff on Instagram in the most Nicki Minaj way possible, via a very extra photoshoot putting her baby bump on full display, rocking an ornate bikini and matching stilettos in two shots and a half goddess/half Virgin Mary frock in another.
“Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes,” Minaj captioned the snaps.
The father of her unborn bub is ex-con Kenneth Petty, who Minaj married in 2019.
“I didn’t think it would be as refreshing and calming as it is,” Minaj has said of her marriage. “Even if you’re not married, when you have someone that feels like your soulmate or someone who understands you, it just makes you feel like you’re on top of the world.”
It comes after the rapper last year announced she was retiring from music to start a family.
