Nine Inch Nails Debut Two New Tracks At Fuji Rock Festival

As we creep closer to the release date of Nine Inch Nails‘ eighth studio effort Hesitation Marks, we get more tasters of the sweet, sweet industrial goodness to come. Today we get to sample not one but two new tracks from the album, after Trent Reznor and company debuted them at Fuji Rock Festival last night.

Some wonderful fan has filmed footage of Find My Way, an eerie, stripped-back track with so much atmosphere, you could cut it with a knife. It’s pretty delicate by Nine Inch Nails standards, but there’s no shortage of self-loathing lyrics and it sits perfectly next to the first single from the album, Came Back Haunted. Copy Of A is a little more typical of the band, but like all the new stuff we’ve heard, it manages to explore new territory while still retaining that distinctive NIN flavour.

Fuji Rock is taking place this weekend, with last night also seeing performances from Bjork, Vampire Weekend and The Cure. Hesitation Marks is released in Australia on Friday, 30th August, and will have different cover art for each format, made from a variety of material including blood. Yes, really.
