Nine Inch Nails members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have unveiled their newest collaborative work, releasing the score for Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming Bones And All. Set to be released in Australia this week, the film is the 11th collaborative score the pair have produced since 2010.
Described as a “romantic horror road film”, Bones And All is an adaptation of Camille DeAngelis’ 2015 novel of the same name, and features Taylor Russell and Timothée Chalamet in lead roles. Russell and Chalamet play cannibalistic lovers, with the film being so far well-received by critics despite its shocking subject matter.

Reznor and Ross – who won the Academy Award for Best Original Score for 2010’s The Social Network and 2020’s Soul – crafted immersive music for Bones And All that drifts between ambient and melodic, with a memorable acoustic guitar motif anchoring the soundtrack.
As Billboard notes, Reznor recently took part in a Q&A session to speak about the film, revealing that the creative experience with Guadagnino was so positive that he and Ross are already deep into production of the soundtrack for the director’s upcoming sports film Challengers.
