Parents and kids at the Center For Early Education in West Hollywood, California were treated to an unexpected guest at the school’s annual fundraiser last night.
The school is attended by the daughter of one of the biggest power couples in music; Beyoncé and Jay-Z. But Blue Ivy Carter’s mum was never going to be content helping out behind the scenes of the school event, rather deciding to take to the stage for a shock live performance.
Queen B took on some of her biggest hits for what would have to be the smallest crowd (both in terms of numbers and average audience age) that she’s played to in a while, as she belted out tracks including Crazy In Love, Single Ladies, as well as a moving cover of Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You.
Beats a bake sale I guess. Catch vides of the performance here below.
