Northlane Share New ‘Node’ Track, ‘Obelisk’

Sydney metalcore outfit Northlane have shared yet another track from their forthcoming album Node, which will be their first with new vocalist Marcus Bridge. The new cut, Obelisk, is the first official single to be take from the release, and has already been given the music video treatment.

Obelisk (below) sees the band get even heavier than the recently-shared new track Ra, which will also feature on Node‘s 11-strong tracklisting. Obelisk‘s official music video, directed by Jason Eshraghian, features Northlane performing the track in a cinematic and sandy landscape.

Northlane released Rot, the first song featuring their new vocalist, in November last year. Since then, the band have detailed Node via a series of cryptic Twitter clues, and are preparing to release the album worldwide on 24th July.

Northlane performed at Groovin The Moo 2015 in April and May, and have already been locked in to play at Soundwave 2016 with their swag of new songs in tow.
