The Day Trip festival is making its way back north this August, returning to North Queensland and bringing with it some of the country’s best names.
Headlining the festival this year, Perth’s Spacey Jane. They join a festival bill that is fleshed out with the likes of Skegss, Vera Blue, Alice Ivy, Winston Surfshirt and more. Sounds good? Sounds awesome.
Taking place in Townsville, Day Trip is curating a special live music experience for punters; capped at 5,000, the event has grown from its inaugural year in 2021, which saw Day Trip host 2,5000 festival goers at the Townsville Turf Club.

“After the success of last year’s Day Trip, we wanted to really build on the experience to deliver a bigger line up in a beautiful setting.” Festival promoter Jake Reid has said.
“Central Park is the perfect location for a music festival as it really captures the best of Townsville.”
