Oliver Tree Links Up With Blink-182 For Single ‘Let Me Down’

Oliver Tree has enlisted the help of his childhood heroes, Blink-182, to jump on a rework of his recent single ‘Let Me Down.’

‘Let Me Down’ was originally released as a standalone single from Tree’s debut studio album, Ugly Is Beautiful. It was the fifth single taken from the album ahead of its release on Friday, 17th July, following ‘Alien Boy’, ‘Hurt’, ‘Miracle Man’ and ‘Cash Machine’.

In addition to the release of the rework, Tree has also dropped a music video for another Ugly Is Beautiful cut – ‘I’m Gone’.

The original drop of ‘Let Me Down’ was in April, days after Tree announced his ‘retirement’ and days after the coronavirus pandemic meant his album release was delayed.

“Even though it was completely out of my control, I felt like I let a lot of people down so I made them this song as an apology,” Tree said in a press statement at the time of the song’s release.
