One Direction’s Niall Horan Announces 2018 Australian Tour

Former One Direction member Niall Horan has announced that he’ll bring his ‘Flicker World Tour’ to Australia in 2018, for a series of huge arena shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Horan’s debut arena tour will hit Australia in June, and will see the singer-songwriter play tracks like ‘This Town’ and ‘Slow Hands’, as well as songs from his upcoming debut album. The tour will be supported by American singer-songwriter Maren Morris.

Horan, who is currently touring the world on his ‘The Flicker Sessions’ tour, will also perform a one-off show in Sydney this weekend, giving fans a taste of what to expect next year.

The singer has been working with a team of producers on his debut album, and says he’s been listened to a lot of retro tunes to get inspired.

“I’ve been listening to a lot of early ’80s stuff lately and been inspired by that heavy bass and the funky guitar sound,” Horan says.

“It’s another flavour to my album that I’m excited to share.”
