With the 25th anniversary of The Wiggles‘ self titled debut approaching next year, odds are most of us twenty somethings currently getting around the scene would have spent a good deal of our childhoods twisting along with the coloured skivvy sporting songsters. So get those nostalgia feels ready, as it seems the band’s original line-up is getting back together for a very special, over 18s pub show.
At last a chance to get drunk and return to early childhood, distracted by memories of a simpler time and childish lyrics. Granted that sounds like most of my weekends, but considering how most of their songs come with instructions on how to dance along to them at least I might not completely embarrass myself on the dance-floor for a change (unlikely).
Confirming the show via twitter, the group’s sole remaining original Wiggle Anthony Field told fans “to dust off the old VHS tapes, The Original Wiggles will be doing a pub show for Over 18s, January 2016!”
Great response! We get to help a mate,so dust off the old VHS tapes,The Original Wiggles will be doing a pub show for Over 18s,January 2016!

The geniuses behind such loveable characters as Dorothy The Dinosaur, Henry The Octopus, Wags the Dog and of course the swashbuckling Captain Feather Sword, Anthony Field, Murray Cook, Greg Page, and Jeff Fatt have not played together since Page, Cook and Fatt retired in 2012.
Reuniting to ‘help a mate’ there are as yet no details on where the show will be or exactly when, but regardless of that, we here at Music Feeds feel it’s safe to say It’s Wiggle Time.
