The Gold Coast’s Ozfest bash is set to return for its fourth annual romp next year, and we’ve just been given our first glimpse at its bonza lineup.
The 2017 instalment of the Sunshine State’s pop-up beach party (which isn’t to be confused with Ozzy Osbourne’s international heavy metal extravaganza Ozzfest lol) will feature performances from a mixed bag of familiar faces from the festival scene, belonging to Ball Park Music, British India, Urthboy, Hockey Dad, Luke Million, Bec Sandridge and Bleach Girls, with more still to be announced.
Mike Gilbert from the festival’s venue says, “We love our music here at the Miami Shark Bar, the punters and the bands always have a great time. It’s just great how Ozfest takes things up a notch and we get to do something really cool right here in our huge car park!”
After the roaring success of past years — which have seen performances from the likes of Illy, The Preatures, Seth Sentry, San Cisco, Allday, Art Vs Science and Kingswood perform — the annual beach party is promising another huge instalment with three big boxes ticked: “no clashes, great food and cold beer”.
As always, the festival will take over the Miami Tavern Carpark on Saturday, 28th of January. Limited release early bird tickets go on sale from 9am, 7th October.
