Ozzy Osbourne is on the cusp of releasing his highly anticipated new album, but he has just revealed some upsetting news regarding his health – he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
In an interview with Good Morning America, the legend revealed his diagnosis with wife Sharon by his side, and said it felt like a great weight had been lifted now the diagnosis is public.
“I feel better now that I’ve owned up to the fact that I have a case of Parkinson’s,” he said.

“And I just hope (my fans) hang on and they’re there for me because I need them.”
Of course, Osbourne’s life has been rattled with health issues recently, including a bout of pneumonia as well as a nasty fall that eventually led him to pull out of his headlining slot at last year’s Download festival.
“When I had the fall it was pitch black,” he said. “I went to the bathroom and I fell.”
“I remember lying there thinking, ‘Well, you’ve done it now.’ Really calm,” he continued.
“Sharon got me an ambulance. After that, it was all downhill.”
He then went on to say it has been the “worst, longest, most painful, miserable year of my life.”
Rest assured, he is undergoing treatment for the disease and he wants his fans to know that he’s not going anywhere just yet.
Osbourne’s new album, Ordinary Man, is slated for release on Friday, 21st February. Check out the title track, which features Elton John, below.
