First they drew us in with their eery illuminati-esque social media pics, then they freaked us out with their extremely creepy teaser videos yesterday, and today Panic! at the Disco have pulled it all outta the bag with their LA Devotee video, featuring Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers in Netflix’s Stranger Things.
In the video (below), Schnapp is abducted and kept hostage in a creepy basement, and strapped to a chair while satanic images flash over him. There’s goats, crop circles, a red-caped figure creeping around behind him, and the band’s signature exclamation point.
Schnapp’s character is forced by a little girl to drink from a silver goblet, before electrodes are placed on his temples and he writhes around in bondage. He madly mimes the words to the song while flashes of PATD frontman Brendon Urie appear on the screen. He is smug, lording over his hostage from afar.
With obviously no plans to slow things down after dropping their brand new album Death of a Bachelor in January, Panic! At The Disco have managed to create a super spooky, aptly timed release, jumping aboard that electric buzz that currently surrounds Stranger Things.
Check it out below, and the band’s upcoming Australian tour dates right here.
