Panic! At The Disco Share Metal Version Of ‘The Calendar’ During Fortnite Stream

Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie has shared a metal version of the band’s 2011 Vices & Virtues track ‘The Calendar’, after recently saying he’d like to make a metal album.

Urie played the song for fans while streaming a game of Fortnite on Twitch recently, as Rock Sound points out, and he told viewers the version of the song was recorded back in 2010.

Speaking in an interview earlier this month, Urie said he’s planning to launch a “metal project” in the future, and has big ideas for more metal Panic! music.

“I actually just played something for my band mates recently,” he said.

“We have an old song called ‘The Calendar’ and I made a metal version of it from years back. It’s like 90 seconds long and is really fun. Who knows, I might even put that out on SoundCloud on a whim some time soon!”

And now it’s here — watch Urie stream the metal version of ‘The Calendar’ in the video below.

Panic! At The Disco last toured Australia in October, in support of their sixth album Pray For The Wicked.
