Victoria’s boutique music festival Paradise has dropped its first major lineup announcement for 2016, topped by the likes of rockers Gold Class, local hip hop act Baro, Melbourne band Pearls and electronic acts GL, LUCIANBLOMKAMP and Harvey Sutherland & Bermuda.
Now in its fourth year, Paradise will also play host to performances by the likes of Sui Zhen, Julia Jacklin, Lossless and Gabriella Cohen when it hits Lake Mountain in Victoria’s alpine region over the last weekend of November.
This year, Paradise remains a scenic camping festival with a BYO policy, showers and indoor toilets. The festival grounds are situated just outside of Marysville, which is about a 90-minute drive from Melbourne.
Within the festival grounds, Paradise 2016 will be spread across three key locations: an outdoor amphitheatre, an indoor nightclub and a newly-added second internal music space.
Last year’s Paradise Music Festival lineup featured the likes of experimental rockers My Disco, indie outfit Lurch & Chief, Melbourne duo Black Cab and Sydney trio Black Vanilla.
Paradise Music Festival 2016 kicks off on Friday, 25th November, and admission will be capped at 2,000 people. Catch the event’s huge first lineup announcement and ticket details below as we wait for even more acts to be announced when the second lineup arrives later in the year.
