Does anybody remember Paris Hilton‘s pop career? Anybody?
Well, in news that will make the handful of you who liked her old hit Stars Are Blind very happy (and make the rest of us groan) – the hotel heiress is relaunching her music career.
And, in what seems like a natural fit, she’s enlisted the help of fellow party-poopers LMFAO for her comeback single.
NineMSN’s The Fix reports that the 30-year-old has been in the studio with the duo creating her own Party Rock Anthem, with an album release planned for mid-year.
“I was just in the studio with RedFoo the other night, so we’re going to be doing my new single with LMFAO,” Hilton told MTV News. “I’m going with a whole new genre. I have Afrojack executive-producing the entire album. So we’ve just been coming up with the most incredible tracks.”
Hilton added that she’s known the LMFAO boys “since I was a little girl” and that she was hugely proud of them “cause they’ve just created this whole ‘Party Rock’ brand and it’s just so awesome.”
