The lineup for Tasmania’s all-ages camping festival Party In The Paddock has expanded with the announcement of seven new acts, including post-rockers sleepmakeswaves, the ever-fiery Ecca Vandal and rockers The Bennies.
Other acts added in today’s announcement (via triple j) include DJ extraordinaire Nina Las Vegas and electronic duo Close Counters. Catch the full and updated lineup, below.
Party In The Paddock’s newly announced acts now sit on an eclectic roster which already held the likes of Aussie rockers Violent Soho, Spiderbait and The Preatures, along with rising stars like Tkay Maidza and producer Roland Tings.
Beginning as a 1000-person event in 2013, Party In The Paddock has grown to see over 5000 people attend its last shindig. In 2016, the festival will once again take place on private farmland within Tasmania’s north-east, and will run from the 19th to 20th February.
The event is also partnering with beyondblue and other local mental health awareness groups to help spread awareness and help combat the effects of depression, anxiety and substance abuse in the wider community.
