English singer-songwriter Michael Rosenberg, aka Passenger, has announced a 2017 Australian tour, with a run of seven shows locked in for January taking in Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, Adelaide and Fremantle.
Rosenberg most recently toured Australia in February and March this year behind the release of his 2015 album Whispers II. Next time around, Rosenberg will be bringing his band with him to show off songs from his forthcoming album Young As The Morning Old As The Sea, and will tour down under supported by Melbourne indie-rockers The Paper Kites.
Announcing his latest Aussie jaunt on Facebook, Rosenberg told fans, “It gives me great pleasure to say that I will be heading back down under in the new year to play a few shows with the band.
“Will be playing at some of my favourite venues and a few new ones too. The amazing The Paper Kites will be joining me for the run. Think it’s going to be a really special one… So pleased to be coming back.”
Young As The Morning Old As The Sea is set for release on 23rd September, with Rosenberg’s 2017 Passenger Australian tour kicking off in Brisbane on Friday, 20th January.
