Patrick Wolf will be returning to Australia this September to perform a run of acoustic shows. He’ll be taking the stage to play a collection of a songs from his 5-album back catalogue, including his latest album Lupercalia. He’ll be visiting Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
This year Wolf celebrates an impressive decade in the industry. Over his illustrious career, Wolf has ventured into a number of diverse fields and exhibited countless talents, but it is as a performer and songwriter that he truly shines.
For this tour we’ll see Wolf take the stage playing grand piano, Celtic harp, dulcimer and more, but he’ll only be accompanied by one other musician on stage. He has a solid following in Australia and has visited a couple of times. A rather mercurial talent, his powers as a songwriter and musician are matched by a pretty feisty temper, as can be seen in this now-legendary footage of a show at the C/O Pop Festival in Germany.
