Iconic US singer-songwriter, poet and visual artist Patti Smith has revealed two intimate sideshows to go alongside her forthcoming appearance at Bluesfest 2017 in Byron Bay.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee famously recorded her debut album Horses in 1975, and four decades later Australian audiences will have the privilege of witnessing as Smith performs her seminal recording with her band in full at headline dates in Sydney and Melbourne.
The band will also include two members of her original band — Lenny Kaye and Jay Dee Daugherty — for what are set to be some memorable performances. “It will be a true, proud celebration,” says Smith of the forthcoming tour.
