Australia’s very own Paul Dempsey (you know, of Something For Kate fame?) has announced three solo shows in Victoria for August this year.
Dempsey’s had a busy start to the year, having toured across Europe and the UK playing with David Bowie’s band. He performed in Canberra at the Australian of The Year Awards, played a sold-out east coast regional tour and Western Australian tour, and also had his ‘Edge Of Town’ cover land in the triple j Hottest 100.
He’s been writing for the upcoming Something For Kate album, but in the meantime he’s taking his second solo album Strange Loop for a spin in Victoria. Fans heading to see him can expect new songs, as well as tracks off his gold-selling debut Everything Is True, and (of course) a couple of covers.
The shows should be an intimate and personal evening with one of Australia’s favourite songwriters, and will be supported by Fraser Gorman.
