The unique friendship between Canberra electronic duo Peking Duk and breakfast TV badass Karl Stefanovic continues to blossom, with the Say My Name tunesmiths issuing a bizarre challenge to the Today host.
The mighty Duks, aka Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles, appeared live on Nine’s brekky show this morning to lay down the gauntlet to Stefanovic, daring him to get involved with a charity project called Optus RockCorps.
The campaign aims to give back to local communities through volunteer work, and there’s a lot on the line if Stefanovic doesn’t comply.
Should he fail in his task, Reuben has vowed to get a tattoo on his leg, of Karl and Richard “Dickie” Wilkins spooning. And let’s face it, nobody wants to see that.
However, should he succeed, the Today host will be honoured for all eternity with a tattoo of his likeness upon Adam’s chest.
“How can we possibly lose this? It’s a win-win for us.” Stefanovic remarked.
The challenge follows on from the brekky presenter’s cameo during Peking Duk’s set at Stereosonic last year.
One of the Duks will no doubt be showing off their hideous new Stefanovic tattoo when they perform a set at the Optus RockCorps gig in Sydney on September 30th, alongside Wiz Khalifa, The Veronicas and Raury.
