People Are Calling Morrissey’s New T-Shirt “Racist”

Morrissey is causing a stir once again, this time over a piece of merch that is being labelled “racist”.

The item in question is a t-shirt that he plans to sell on his upcoming North American tour which features a picture of writer and civil rights activist James Baldwin.

That’s not the problem. The problem is that he’s attached iconic Smiths lyrics, “I wear black on the outside/’Cause black is how I feel on the inside,” from 1986’s ‘Unloveable’.

He’s offended many people online and is being labelled everything from, “a racist shithead,” to, “a fucking idiot.”

Others are not as surprised saying that this is simply proof that he is a racist, something they’ve known all along.

Morrissey is yet to respond to the controversy and knowing how headstrong he is, there’s little to no way that he’ll can the tees before the tour.
