Boorloo/Perth-based indie-rock act Sophian have returned with a dose of laid-back funk on their uplifting new single ‘Dance With Me’, produced by Dave Parkin (Spacey Jane, Sly Withers).
The song was written from a place of pure love, inspired by frontman Sophian Manik’s desire to help two people close to him see themselves through his eyes.

“When I started to write this song, I had just come out of deep conversations with two people I really love, about their feelings of their own self-worth and how they were struggling to see that,” the vocalist explained in a press statement. “I wanted them to know how amazing and special they are and how they just needed a little push to know this.”
To celebrate the release, Sophian are set to perform at WA’s Nannup Music Festival, followed by their first ever East Coast Tour. They’ll also be jumping on the lineup for Sydney’s Bootleg Rascal-curated BOOTY BLOCK PARTY, alongside Bootleg Rascal themselves, Danté Knows, Chandler Jewels, King Ibis and more.
